Are You Tired Of Working Your Horse On SOUR CATTLE?
I’m talking about cattle that won’t respond to your cutting horse. Roping cattle that won’t break from the chute and run down the arena. Team roping steers that drag their hind feet so you can’t catch the heels.
There’s a new training device that solves those problems & makes your cattle behave like they’re FRESH again.
Hi – I’m Larry Trocha.
For most of my adult life, I’ve professionally trained horses on cattle . You can see some of my training techniques on my YouTube channel.
I’ve won cutting horse and cow horse championships. Plus, taught many non-pros in those events.
Many of my friends are cutters, ropers, ranch sorters and cow horse competitors… and we all share the same problem… our cattle quickly get sour and won’t work well any more.
Cattle only work well when they’re fresh. Unfortunately, they’re good for only a few works.
After that, it becomes increasingly difficult to do a good job of training a horse on them.
Every 30 days, I’d have to swap my cattle out for a new fresh herd.
This was always an expensive deal… a hassle too!
After putting two pounds a day weight gain on the cattle, I’d lose all my money spent on feed. The cow dealers I leased the cattle from, wouldn’t share the profit made from the weight gain.
I also had to pay a cattle hauler to transport the cattle to and from the dealer… expensive.
On top of that, shortly after the new cattle arrived, they’d be sick (shipping fever or pneumonia). More money spent on medicine. Plus, time lost while they got well enough to work.
After decades of all this hassle, I came up with a better way.
Let me explain what the ideal cattle situation SHOULD look like.
Your cattle would last for months. Not just one month. But 4, 5 or even 6 months.
You could get your horses trained on HALF the number of cattle you normally use. In some cases, you could even reduce the number by 75%. Causing a HUGE SAVINGS on the feed bill.
Plus, if you purchased the cattle yourself, you’d get to keep all the profit from the weight gain!
No more sick cattle coming in every 30 days with shipping fever or pneumonia. And no more paying a cattle hauler either.
This ideal situation has happened for me and it can happen for YOU too.
I have designed a new training devise which will make your cattle act like they are fresh again.
It’s called the “Cow Trainer”… and that’s exactly what it does.
Since I’ve been using it, my cattle have lasted a lot longer. I’ve had my current herd for 6 months… And they still work good.
I’ve been able to reduce the number of cattle I keep by 75%. My feed bill is a fraction of what it used to be.
I let some of my “roper” friends try the Cow Trainer.
It fixed the cattle that wouldn’t break from the chute and run down the arena. It also fixed the steers that drag their hind feet.
All in all a valuable tool for keeping your cattle working well no matter what event.
The “Cow Trainer” allows you to train a sour cow to act fresh again.
With the “Cow Trainer” unit cinched on the cow, the rider can apply a short pulse of electrical stimulation using a small remote control button attached to your wrist or saddle horn.
With just a press of the button, cattle quickly learn to once again respect the horse. To run or play with the horse like a fresh cow. Simply run the cow into a chute, cinch on the Cow Trainer, and you’re ready to go.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Do I need to use the Cow Trainer EVERY time I work the cow?
A: No. If you stimulate the cow 3 or 4 times during a work, that cow will usually stay good another two or three weeks before you need to use the “Cow Trainer” again. Simply step your horse to the cow, if the cow doesn’t respond, push the button.
Q: Do I need a squeeze chute with a head gate?
A: No. It’s easy to make a simple chute out of a few pipe panels. Funnel the cow into the front of the chute and slide a pipe behind her so she can’t back up. After cinching her up with the Cow Trainer, open the front of the chute to let her out. I recommend panels with chains instead of pins.
Important Tips:
Run the cows through the chute (or make one using panels) several times before you ever trap one. That way they think the only way out is forward. The first time you cinch a cow, she may put up a fuss. After 2 or 3 times, she’ll calmly stand to be cinched just like a horse would.
Each “Cow Trainer” Kit Includes:
- A rechargeable electric control box with power switch mounted onto a padded neoprene cinch.
- An adjustable nylon latigo and off-side billet.
- (2) remote control buttons (in case you lose one).
- A smart charger: fully charges your Cow Trainer then turns off.
**The only thing you will need to purchase separately, is a pony cinch the right size to fit your cattle. A 500 lb. cow will usually need a 16” pony cinch. Smaller or larger cattle may require a different size.
The “Cow Trainer” is GUARANTEED to work for you. It’s also under WARRANTY for a full year. If any of the electrical components fail within a year, we’ll fix it for FREE!
